  5. There is two differences between 1975 and 1995 that has changes in the representation of women in Freedonia's work force, according to the graphs.

Two sectors that retained stable employment numbers for both men and women were manufacturing, which had about 300 000 women and 650 000 men in both surveyed years, and the public sector (non-defence), which employed 650 000 women and 850 000 men.

In 1975, some 300 000 men and 250 000 women worked in the communications sector. Twenty years later, though the number of men remained unchanged, the number of women increase to 550 000.

Women also made gains in both the finance/banking industries and in the defence-related public sector. Whereas some 125 000 women worked in finance and banking institutions in 1975, the number increased to 450 000 by 1995. The number of men grew only marginally from 425 000 to 480 000 over the same period. In defence, the number of men declined from 225 000 to 200 000, while the number of women rose from 25 000 to over 100 000.

A similar situation was seen in the wholesale and retail trade sector, where the number of women increase from about 550 000 in 1975 to almost 800 000 twenty years later. The number of men in this sector remained stable over the period, at around 700 000.

  18. Number of male and female workers in 1975 and 1995 in several employment sector then public of Freedonia

The two graphs compare the differences between the two genders who have a career in 1975 and 1995 in the republic of Freedonia. From the graph 1975 we can see that men workers more in all kind of jobs more than women. For example 300 men and 250 women worked in the communication sector then twenty years, later the number of men remain the same but the number of women increases.

Furthermore, the whole sale and retail trade sector here we see is the same situation, there is an increases of women from 550 in 1975 to almost 800 in two decades later where else the number of men remain the same. Women also made gains in both of finance and also banking industries and also in the defence related public sector . Here also we see the increase of women from 1975 to 1995 but for men it also grows but slightly.

Then for men in defence we see there is a decrease from 225 to 200 while for women is increase. Moreover, the other two sector which remain same is the manufacturing in the both 1975 and 19995 is the same. From here we can conclude that women had made an increase in the Freedonia then men.

  26. Numbers of Male and Female workers in the year 1975 and 1995 in several Sectors in Freedonia.

The graph shows the numbers of male and female in several employment sectors in Freedonia. Public Sector in non –defence and the defence at year 1975 can be clearly seen that the amount considerable across employment in female. According to the figures, male on the average have less employment sectors then female in the years of 1975 and 1995.

The wholesale side, female is less in the year 1975 compare to 1995 with the amount of 700. At the finance / banking sector the amount is more in the year of 1995 with the numbers of 500 then the year of 1975. But for the male it more at the year of 1975 with the amount of 500 compare to 1995. This is mainly due to the fact that females prefer working at the banking sector then the male. It is noticed that employment for the communication at the year of 1975 is lesser then the year of 1995 in the female sectors. At year 1975 it is less then the year of 1995 for the male sector.
At the manufacturing sector it is remain unchange for the male and female for the both years I guess this is due to manufacturing factor is the major contributor to the countries progress especially our country moving towards emerging periods.

In conclusion we can see there is a significant employment towards the female then the male employments.

With reference to the graphs below, they show the numbers of six employment sectors that have been monopoly by male and female of the republic of Freedonia. The survey was conducted for the year 1975 and 1995 to be compared.

The graphs show varies of reading but maintain the fact that most sectors are monopoly by male until the changes begin in 1995 but only in communications and wholesale & retail trade sector. This is due to women have across the male in those two sectors in 1995. The biggest difference can be seen in communications sector in 1995 where women leave the men about doubled. Two other sectors that seem stable in those two years are manufacturing and public sectors (non- defence). Others show relatively similar but in 1995 women start to give more competition in most sectors.

In 1975, finance/ banking sector shows that men doubled the women, same with the public sector either defence or non-defence that shows women are very few in these sectors. But 1995,women start to compete with men and show just a minimal difference in finance/banking and public sector (defence).

Employment in Fredonia by sex in 6 sectors in 1975 and 1995

Both graphs showed the comparison of employment in Freedonia by sex based for several sectors between 1975 and 1995. Almost all sector been monopolised by men in 1957 especially in public defence sector with rationale men should support the family compared to unemployed women that prefer becoming housewives ,different educational level and number of jobs opportunities at that time.

The pattern seems quite the same in 1995 except for several sectors such as communication, banking and public sector which divided into two defence and no-defence that surpassed the men number. Factor such as technology advancement nowadays, government support and increasing in jobs opportunities made it possible for women joining the defence sector and took part actively in public relation based sectors such as accountants of bank staffs, TV reporters, news writer, lecturers and also supermarket promoters.

In short, as time pass by, there’s slightly improvement in people mentality which denied the facts that women will not ever match the men in term of getting quality jobs .
