  1. The average hours that spends by people in different categories to do unpaid work.

The diagram shows average hours of unpaid work per week done by people in different categories. It was dividing into two categories such as married women and married men. In this diagram, unpaid work refers to such activities as childcare in home, housework and gardening.

In this case, the married women who are without children spend 30hours to do unpaid work. However the married men spend 20hours to do unpaid work in a week. Compare with this two categories, married women spend more time rather than married men.

Other than that, the married women whoever with 1-2children spends 50hours to do unpaid work in a week while married men whoever with 1-2children spend only 15hours to do unpaid work. So the married women are spending more time than married men to do unpaid work.

Moreover, married women with more than 3children spends 55hours to do unpaid work and married men whoever with more than 3children spends 10hours to do unpaid work. Again the married women are spends time than married men.

As a conclusion, women who married spends more time to do unpaid work compare to married men it is because married men not interest in doing unpaid work.

Other than that, the lowest rate is all are same which is 19 and all is by married man.so the unpaid work hours per week are more or less the married man are the highest. The man more have the man power than married woman because almost the married woman will be the housewife.

UNPAID WORK PER WEEK IN DIFFERENT CATEGORIES

The diagram shows the average total hours of unpaid work per week done by people in different categories. This unpaid work is refers to some activities such as childcare in the home, housework and gardening. People that being tested in this type of status are people who are married woman also married man. From this graph, it shows that the total unpaid work hours per week was lead by the married women than a married man. This amount is observed in three different categories that we are going to discuss.

For the first category which is a married women and men who is without any children, as shown in the graph, the average hours of unpaid work for married woman is 30 hours while for married men is 19 hours. However, in the second category, the condition is, this two married person are having at least one or two children from their marriage. In this category, total for women is 52 hours, however for men is about 18 hours. The last category is a married person who has more than three children. The total hours was increased for married women with 56 hours while decreased for a married man which about 16 hours.

From this information, as the conclusion, the married women with a large amount of child will have the longest hours of this unpaid work. The reason is, the increase of age is the factor where the women more prefer to stop working at the offices and just plan to take care of their own family and do all the house works. Otherwise, the number was always increasing for married women than a man maybe because; logically the man will be the chief in the family organization. They have to be more sacrifice than women to get a salary to manage their family. There’s some time, these man will continue their job as long as they can until the end of their life just to make sure that the family will experience happiness along their life.

The bar chart above shows unpaid work hours per week according to different gender and marital status. Both married women and men are divided according to the number of children that they have. Unpaid work refers to activities such as childcare in the home, housework and gardening.
According to the chart, married women with three children and above work the highest hours which are 56 hours while the lowest hours or working are the married men that is around 16 hours.

The diagram shows the average hours of unpaid word per week done by people in different categories. (Unpaid works refers to such activities as childcare in the home, housework and gardening). The diagram shows the presented by the married woman and married man.
For the result of unpaid work hours per week for categories without children for married woman is highest compare to the married man. This is maybe because of they still have a time to do other thing; because of they don’t have a children. 30 for woman and 19 for the man
For the people who in categories with 1-2 children also married woman is the highest compare to the married man. This is because of people in this category will spend more time to their child and their house to take care of. The result also we can see, married woman is 52 and married man is 18.
People with 3 and above of child, we can see will almost at the time, this is because of the highest number of child will make them busy and don’t have time for them self. So they will be at home at all time. The result also shown the prove that married woman is the highest hours compare to the man.57 than 15. So, the married woman will spend more time at home compare to the man because of they have to take care of their family and child.

  8. Unpaid work hours per week.

The diagram reveals that the number of hours per week spent in unpaid work is unequally distributed between men and women. In households where there are no children, women are reported to work some 30 hours per week in such tasks as housework and other miscellaneous duties . Men's contribution to unpaid jobs averages lower than 18 hours.

When children enter the household, however, the difference becomes even more obvious. In families of 1 - 2 children, men maintain approximately the same number of hours of unpaid work as in childless households, but the number of hours women work in the home rises to 52 per week, much of it, on doubt, due to childcare responsibilities.

Amusingly, when there are three or more children in the household, men are found to work even fewer hours around the house than before the appearance of the third child. Whereas women's unpaid hours rise to approximately 56 per week, the corresponding figure for men, 16, actually represents a decrease. The data suggest that the increased presence of women in the paid work force has yet to lead to an increased role for men in the home.

The chart shows the average hours of unpaid work per week done by in people in different categories. For the married women without the children they spend for 30 hours and married man without children too just spend about 19 hours only. These show big differences may be due to gender that shows women prone to do work in home like hygiene care and home decoration.
In married women with 1-2 children there spend more for unpaid work. There spend about 52 hours but for men it only about 18 hors. The huge differences may be due to increase in workload after having children in families and same goes to the men which is increase children need more time to do extra work outside.

There are two type people which is married women and married men. There are also three categories, without children, with 1 – 2 children, and with 3+ children. From the diagram, we can see that more married women use hours for unpaid work than the married men. It also show that the more children that they have, more married women people use hours for unpaid works. While the married men is opposite than that which is more children they have, less married men use hours for unpaid work. The reason why this is happening because almost all work at the house like childcare, housework, and gardening done by the housewife that is married women. Usually married men go out to work to earn money for the family and go back home late and no time to take care their children.

In conclusion, we can see that married women still work for this although it was unpaid because it's their reponsibilities usually to take care their own children.

The diagram shows the average hours of unpaid work per week done by people in different categories. As we can see in the diagram the unpaid work hours per week totally come from women. There have a quite big different between the married women and married men.
First of all, for married women without children they used 30 hours of their time and the married men only at 18 hours. After that, with 1 to 2 children the married women spend about 52 hours of their time because they have a little number of children. But for married men the total hours is 18. For the married women with 3 and more children the total hours that have spend is the highest which is 56 hours because they must looked after their children at home, so they have to spent their time at home only. For the married men only 17 hours have spent maybe because they need to work to support their family and children.

  34. The diagram reveals that the number of hours per week spent in unpaid work is unequally distributed between men and women. In households where there are no children, women are reported to work some 30 hours per week in such tasks as housework and gardening. Men's contribution to these unpaid jobs averages a considerably lower 18 hours. When children enter the household, however, the inequality becomes even more pronounced. In families of 1 - 2 children, men maintain approximately the same number of hours of unpaid work as in childless households, but the number of hours women work in the home rises to 52 per week, much of it, on doubt, due to childcare responsibilities. Interestingly, when there are three or more children in the household, men are found to work even fewer hours around the house than before the appearance of the third child. Whereas women's unpaid hours rise to approximately 56 per week, the corresponding figure for men, 16, actually represents a decrease. The data suggest that the increased presence of women in the paid work force has yet to lead to an increased role for men in the home.

The same reason shared for those who have more than 1 to 3 children. For women who has 1 t0 2 children, their time at home increase almost double to 56 hours and 60 hours for more than 3 kids. In the last centuries, women would be one who do all housework including childcare as men will go to earn household expenses. Nowadays, men also started to help with houseworks and all.

In the graph, among couple who do not have any children, women is the most who do unpaid works rather than married men. Same goes to the parents who have 1-2 children but the percentage of married women are more higher such as 52 per cent and men 18 per cent. Parents who have 3 children and more, women again beat the men, may be men are busy with their jobs.

As a conclusion, we could see that married men’s percentage of doing unpaid work decrease continuously. This can be due to men’s responsibility in family could be high and they have to concentrate on that rather than doing unpaid work.

TITLE : The average hours of unpaid work per week
